The Talkative platform is hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS).
Hosting regions
Talkative operates across four hosting regions:
- UK (eu.engage.app)
- Germany (euc.engage.app)
- Australia (au.engage.app)
- United States (us.engage.app)
Each customer's instance is deployed in one of these regions, and that customer's data is hosted in the region of their deployment, so you can keep data in the geography that suits your compliance and data-residency requirements. A limited number of sub-processors may process some data in other regions; these are identified in our sub-processor list and governed by our Data Processing Agreement. Specific residency commitments for an engagement can be set out in our Data Processing Agreement.
Shared responsibility
- AWS is responsible for the physical and environmental security of the data-centre facilities, the underlying network and hardware, and secure equipment disposal, covered by AWS's own ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification (certificate 2013-009, EY CertifyPoint).
- Talkative is responsible for the application, databases, customer data and the people and processes operating the platform, governed by our ISO 27001:2022 ISMS.
