When your Voice AI bot connects to external systems via HTTP Request tools, it often needs sensitive credentials to do so. These could be API tokens, auth headers, login details.
The Private Credential Store will allow you to store your secrets directly within Talkative and reference them in your HTTP Request tools, without worrying about them appearing in the Interaction Logs, tool recordings, or to Talkative staff.
The Private Credential Store works with HTTP Request tools in Voice AI.
🛠️ How to use it
Configure the Credential
- Search for Company Credentials in Talkative.
- Select Create Credential.
- Give your secret a name (uppercase letters, numbers and underscores — e.g.
MY_API_TOKEN).
- Enter the secret value and save.

Add it to the Voice Bot HTTP Request
- Open your voice bot and add or edit an HTTP Request tool.
- Reference your stored secret wherever it's needed, in the headers, request body, or elsewhere in the request.
- The secret is injected securely at runtime and never displayed back in logs.
