When a Voice AI bot is created in Talkative, two companion records are created alongside it: a dedicated queue and a system user. The system user can never be logged into — it exists so the platform can attribute interactions to the bot whenever the bot handles a conversation.
Symptom
Voice AI interactions immediately drop after successful connection. The SIP trace shows a graceful end from the Twilio endpoint.
Cause
Like any user that handles interactions, the bot's system user must be mapped to a Salesforce queue or user. If it isn't, Talkative has nowhere to allocate the interaction data it sends to Salesforce, so the interaction fails.
Resolution
Map the bot user to a Salesforce queue or user exactly as you would a regular agent, following the standard steps here: https://support.gettalkative.com/salesforce-integration/64Pm6dELsdoVDrKMxCroQq/getting-started-with-salesforce---salesforce-org-config/66BcpvDuehhg43m4L7dKrm#:~:text=Then on the Talkative Salesforce page%2C you will see a list of Talkative users and chatbots.

⚠️ Interactions will fail unless the bot's user has an allocated Salesforce user or queue in the config.
