You can customise the images shown in your Talkative chat widget, for chatbots, human agents, and the widget header. There are three image types:
- Widget Header Image – shown before a chat starts.
- User Avatar Image – shown for human agents.
- Chatbot Avatar Image – shown for automated bots.
1️⃣ Widget Header Image

How to upload:
- Open Widget Editor → Theme section.
- Upload your header image.
- Optional: enable Overrides if you want this image to stay the same during chats with bots or agents.
Notes:
- If no chatbot avatar is set, the header image stays during the chatbot conversation and while queueing.
- Max file size: 10MB (smaller is better for faster loading).
2️⃣ User Avatar Images

For your own user:
- Click your name (bottom-left corner).
- Select User Profile.
- Upload your image under User Avatar.
For your team’s users:
- Go to Users in the setting section.
- Edit the user’s profile and upload their avatar.
Permissions:
- Supervisors can edit agent avatars.
- Account Holders can edit supervisor and agent avatars.
3️⃣ Chatbot Avatar Images

To update a chatbot avatar:
- Go to the Chatbots section from the left-hand menu.
- Find the chatbot you want to update and click the three dots beside it.
- Select Edit Meta Data.
- Add or update the chatbot’s image.
- Click Save.
