When an agent clicks the red 'x', the interaction enters the 'Ended' state and remains in the agent's console for later review. To remove it completely, the agent must click the red 'x' a second time to complete the interaction.
The auto complete ended interactions setting lets you automatically complete interactions after they’ve been in an ‘Ended’ state for a certain number of days. This helps reduce the number of interactions left open on the agents console by mistake.
This setting only applies to Talkative configurations that are not using Single Stage Interaction End
⚙️ How to Enable Interaction Auto Complete
Step 1: Access the Settings
Head over to ‘Settings’ in the left-hand menu, navigate to ‘Agent Experience’ and ‘Auto Complete Interactions’

You can use the search bar the top of the settings page to search for this setting as well!
Step 2: Set Interaction Completion Time
Then using the textbox enter the number of days to wait before ended interactions are auto-completed
Additional Notes
- If the value is set to 0, auto-completion is turned off
- If the value is greater than 0, auto-completion is active
- By default, this is set to 7 days for all existing and new customers
Talkative will remember if you enabled or disabled captions in your last video chat and will default accordingly
