What is this feature and why you should use it.
Business hours allow you to set your business opening times and the shift patterns of your employees. You can then set your chat widget to follow these business hours so that you only receive interactions when you're online.

Instructions to Set default business hours [10 Minutes]

Step 1: Log into Talkative
Step 2: Access Business Hours Settings
- Click the 'Settings' tab on the left hand side
- Then click 'Business Hours'
Step 3: Update Business hours settings
- From the list of business hours, click 'Default'
- In the standard hours section, you can update shift times by clicking here:
- If a day does not have a shift you can click 'Add Shift' to add one if required.
- To add further shifts to any day, click the three dots and click either "Add shift Before" or "Add Shift After"
- On the right hand side, you can add 'Override Dates'. These allow you to set a shift exception on certain days. This is useful if you run a reduced service on public holidays.
- Click 'Add Override Date' to add a new date
- Once the date has been setup, click 'Add Shift' against the date.
- Click 'Add Override Date' to add a new date
- Once you are happy with the config, click 'Update Shifts'
- Below this you can set some general settings such as the Name and description of the Shift pattern. You can also toggle if this shift should be the default
Only one shift can be default at a single time
- Once you're happy with the setup, click 'Update General Settings and Shifts'
