Troubleshooting Common Web Chat Issues


* Talkative Portal Not Loading/HTTP ERROR 500: This error indicates a potential server-side issue.  Try clearing your browser cache and cookies, using a different browser, or contacting our support team if the problem persists.

* Agents Appearing Offline or Unable to Access Chats: Ensure all agents are logged in and their status is set correctly. Check for any network connectivity issues or potential conflicts with VPN or ad-blocking software.

* Discrepancies in Agent Availability on Dashboard: In rare cases, the dashboard may display incorrect agent availability due to webhook errors. If the issue persists after refreshing the page, contact our support team.

* Interactions Getting Stuck in Active Status: Interactions may get stuck in active status if a backend error occurs.  However, these interactions should automatically close after 24 hours of inactivity. If an interaction remains stuck, contact our support team for assistance.

* Live Chat Button Appearing on Unexpected Pages: Verify the page rules configured for your widgets to ensure they are properly targeting the intended pages. Page rules can be adjusted to control where the chat button appears.
