Video Transcription

Talkative allows video calls to be transcribed in real-time.


First, you must have transcription enabled, that you can set as an Account Holder, do here by searching "Transcript" in the settings menu: 


Your chat widget must also be on version 0.45 or higher.


Now, when you have a web voice/video call, the call will be transcribed.


Transcriptions will show up:

- interaction log transcripts

- real-time chat monitoring

- within closed captions (if enabled)

- be used for interaction summaries (if enabled)


Setting languages

By default, transcription is set to English. 


If you need another language, navigate to Queues.

Click on queue configs:


Then click on the video transcription dropdown to set your language: 


Agents will then need to reload the console for the changes to effect.
