Welcome to Talkative! This article introduces the onboarding wizard that new customers see when first accessing the platform.
When does it appear?
The onboarding wizard is shown only once — during the first-ever login of an Account Holder. It’s designed to give a quick overview of the chat widget setup and console interaction.
All settings you configure in the wizard can be changed later in the platform settings.
Step-by-Step Overview

A friendly introduction to get you started.
2. Customise your chat widget
Pick your brand colours. Don’t worry — you can always update these later.
3. Try the chatbot
If you’ve already added a URL during setup, your chatbot will be ready to answer questions based on your site content.
4. Explore chatbot responses
Your bot will attempt to answer your query — and if it can’t, you’ll be guided to explore the Agent Console.
5. Learn the Agent Console
Get familiar with the workspace where your team will manage conversations.
6. Respond like an agent
Take your first step into a live-agent role by replying to a customer message.
7. Role-play both sides
Switch perspectives and see what it’s like to be the customer again.
